Christmas pasta recipes: maccheroni au gratin

pasta al fornoI have just tried this past dish and found it absolutely delicious; it would make a great dish for Christmas dinner. Here are the ingredients: 400 g maccheroni pasta; 200 g sausage, a mix of four of your favourite cheeses; butter; 1 potato; nutmeg; milk; 500 ml béchamel sauce.

Preparation: boil the potato for a few minutes, then cut it into small cubes and put in a pan with milk. In the meanwhile cook the pasta in slightly salted water until al dente. Next grease a baking dish and throw in the drained pasta and the potato. Add the minced sausage and the cheese cubes and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and nutmeg. Next cover with béchamel and bake at 200° c for 20 minutes.
