Verve magazine has just published a series of photos showing Donatella Versace as she was before undergoing plastic surgery. In these much older pics taken in the 1980s, she looks like a totally different person, far more beautiful than she’s now after vanity surgery. So one can’t help wondering why she did it!

Donatella Versace’s new collection for next spring takes us back to the 1980s or rather if I must be really accurate to the late 1950s when the music scene was dominated by the likes of Elvis Presley and Jerry Lee Lewis (both sporting a huge tuft of hair!); a collection made up of single and double-breasted suits,pointy two-coloured shoes and fringed leather jackets. Oh shake it up baby, shake it up!

Donatella Versace dishes the dirt on Naomi Campbell et al.

In a recent interview given to Love Magazine, Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace has revealed many candid behind the scene secrets; Donatella claimed that back in 1990s, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Christy Turlington and Cindy Crawford could be quite nasty with one another and that their aggressiveness reached dangerous levels whenever some new girl would show up for the first time. She also remembered how once Linda Evangelista went berserk just because she could not find one of her falsies and started to shout: “Where is my boob - where is my boob?”.
Oh there’s nothing like old times!

In order to demonstrate that winter can be an enchanting season, the famous Italian designer has created an icy palette of dazzling whites and steel blues for autumn/winter 2009/10; a collection which includes beautiful coats sporting retro glam cuts, soft knits, striped shirts and multi pocketed jackets that will make us love winter (and Versace clothes of course) at once.

Allegra Versace's battle against anorexia

Allegra, Donatella Versace’s daughter, made an appearance at the Fashion Group’s 25th Annual Night of Stars. The girl still battling with anorexia(Donatella talked about it in an interview granted to a famous magazine in 2007) looked quite thin. We wish her well and would be so happy to see her put on a few extra healthy pounds.
