Before embracing fashion, Roberto Cavalli was a painter and his love of colour is often mirrored in his creations. This time in Milan he has presented a collection made up of checkered trousers (often worn with laced -up boots), fur-trimmed hoods and rather extravagantly embroidered blazers which, in my opinion, were a bit over the top, but maybe the italian designer just wanted to show us that, despite the economic crisis, there’s still room for eccentricity in the world of fashion!
