According to sources Dolce & Gabbana are considering the option of incorporating D&G into the signature line, so what we have just seen at Milan Fashion week could be their last show. Anyway we are not here to talk about that, but to get a closer look at the collection for next fall! A collection which, with its palette of bright orange, acid yellow, and highlighter pink (plus lots of alphabet prints!) took us back to the fabulous 1980s! It was a lot of fun to be there and watch the models strut down the catwalk in plastic charm necklaces and high-heel wedge sneakers!

With this new collection the Italian duo take us back to the 1980s. The Dolce & Gabbana woman loves to change into a man’s clothes, sporting drop-crotch pinstripe trousers, cutaway waistcoats and bright coloured blazers; a style she never gets tired of, so even when the night falls and the stars are out, she keeps mixing menswear into the girls’ wardrobes, wearing dresses with flat brogues!

Last week in Milan Giorgio Armani showed us that he was still the king; his collection for next fall (almost entirely dominated by black but with splashes of soft nudes and delicate pinks) made a strong impression. From the ankle-length trousers to the flared coats, the Armani woman is out to seduce, choosing and wearing only clothes of alluring femininity.

At Emporio Armani show in Milan, hosts of dark ladies took to the catwalk. It was like watching a spy movie, with beautiful women in black trouser suits looking like officers of some secret intelligence service; undercover agents ready to turn into gorgeous nocturnal creatures (all covered in micro-crystals) as soon as the sun goes down.

Milan Fashion week started a couple of days ago and Gucci was one of the first to take to the catwalk. I must say right away that Frida Giannini’s new creations for next fall cut all the mustard! Beautiful, audacious dresses - partly inspired by the 1970s - which are an ode to luxury; from the huge fur collars to the transparent evening gowns in light blue, the collection is an ultra-feminine take on modern romance.

This time Frida Giannini, the creative director of Gucci, sobered things up and delivered a less flashy collection than expected; sharply tailored suites accompanied by shirts and ties in softer colour combinations and a series of fur collars which were quintessentially Gucci!

It’s has been a busy year for Nina Senicar; the showgirl and model from Serbia is climbing fast the ladder to success! Interviewed during Milan fashion week, where she took to the catwalk for Pin up star, Belen Rodriguez’s new clothing line, Nina talked at length about her career on Italian television, life in Milan (which she adores) and her friendship with the scandalous Belen! At the end of her interview she also revealed a couple of secrets on how to stay young and beautiful for ever: all you have to do - she said - is make love and practice pilates every day!
