With corporate cuts and clean lines, Dolce and Gabbana have presented their 2010 winter collection for women at the Milan women’s fashion week last week. There are a few sexy touches as well, with satin and lace in a hint of 30’s style lingerie. Nothing you would wear externally in winter, particularly if the next winter season proves anything like the current, but very elegant and extremely feminine all the same.
This particular Dolce & Gabbana collection is a homage to the art of tailoring in Italy, with the jacket the reigning queen of chic. There’s also a sprinkling of animal print to brighten up the winter, in a collection that is perhaps epitomised, though, in the final photograph.

Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli celebrates 40 years of fashion design this year, showing off the Cavalli 2010 winter collection at the Milan women’s fashion week. In the celebrity party event you can see how wearable some of the Cavalli designs are, with Elisabetta Canalis, Lindsay Lohan, Courtney Love, and Meredith Osrom doing the red carpet thing. The 2010 Cavalli winter collection is nothing less than daring, as usual, and shows his fondness for animal prints, some of which are hand painted.

This time in Milan Roberto Cavalli presented a collection of mismatched prints, frilled miniskirts and leggings encrusted with Swarovski crystals which one loves or hates. So before deciding which side you are on, take a look at our gallery showing Roberto Cavalli’s latest creations for Just Cavalli.

Moschino never bores you; this is a truth that nobody can ever try to deny or confute, so when last week in Milan I saw the models walk down the runaway in those black leather ensembles - with fringes swaying in harmony with their elegant steps - I instantly knew I was in for a few (nice) surprises. From cowboy hats to Chanel-style jackets and Spanish frills, Moschino was indisputably at its best, delivering an unforgettable autumn collection.
