The fever for the Sanremo festival has reached its peak; rumours about the rivalry between Elisabetta Canalis and Belen Rodriguez are running rampart on the Internet. According to Novella 2000 magazine Gianni Morandi, host of the show, has a soft spot for Belen; she’s professional and punctual at all rehearsals ( her dance numbers will make the audience ooh and aah) whereas Elisabetta Canalis, who will try to upstage her colleague at the festival with her interview to Robert de Niro, is behaving like a diva. According to many tv commentators and we graciously agree with them, her engagement to George Clooney (and hobnobbing with Hollywood royalty) has gone to her head!

Belen Rodriguez and Elisabetta Canalis will co-present the Sanremo Festival, a highly popular song contest which every year takes place in the lovely town of Sanremo on the Italian Riviera. Pitted one against the other, the two show girls, promoted to the role of tv presenters, will no doubt try to upstage each other, using fashion as a weapon. Will Belen Rodriguez in Alberta Ferretti and Moschino outshine Eisabetta Canalis in Roberto Cavalli and Vivienne Westwood? Ready to cast your vote? The fashion duel between the two hottest show girls on Italian television is about to start!

But not all that glitters is gold and the prince knows that very well; his late appearance at the festival of Sanremo was heavily criticised (the audience gave him the bird,) but the prince didn’t care a straw, after all he can always count on the love of thousands of doting fans!
