Holidays in Sardinia in a medieval hotel

By Alison in: Sardinia Travel in Italy

After yesterday’s post on the Porto Pino beach in Sardinia, you might be interested to know more about sardinian tours and holiday destinations. The hotel “Corte Fiorita” is worth a visit, in the medieval town of Bosa on the east coast of Sardinia (about 45 kilometres south of Alghero and 60 kilometres north of Oristano).

It is Sardinia’s only river town and is another of the Borghi più Belli d’Italia or Italy’s most beautiful towns, as we’ve seen in other posts. The hotel is a building from the 1700’s, restored in a way faithful to the Italian architectural traditions of the time.

It contains room for 84, divided into bedrooms and mini apartments with satellite television, hairdryer, bar fridges, and bathrooms. The small apartments have their own self-contained kitchen. Prices range from 65 to 115 euros a day for a double room (including breakfast), and for apartment accommodation prices range from 390 to 950 euros.
